摘要: A crawler drive unit for propelling a construction machine such as shovel-type excavator having pair of track assemblies comprises hydraulic motor (11) and speed reducer (12), the latter including stationary carrier (29) pins journaled therein, gears (28) keyed to respectively, first disk-type portion (40), second disktype (46) radially inwardly projecting from (40). An end face casing (13) is substantially coplanar with surface in which annularly hollowed-out (47) provided another allows one each pin abut thereagainst. With this arrangement, can be disposed close proximity (35) (13). This compact arrangement requiring less dimension axial direction (12) obtained. The allowed have thin wall, because it free excessive stresses are commonly caused by load set up sprocket wheel when prior art started.
