摘要: Previous studies demonstrated that type I collagen, a major component of the extracellular matrix, could influence differentiation and function leukocytes; however, it is not clear whether those effects collagen were based on its interaction with classic receptors, alpha1beta1 alpha2beta1 integrins. We recently detected significant upregulation discoidin domain receptor 1 (DDR1), new class receptor, in human leukocytes, including neutrophils, monocytes, lymphocytes, vitro, leading to hypothesis leukocyte-activating might be owing DDR1. In this review, we summarize our recent findings demonstrating DDR1-collagen facilitates adhesion, migration, differentiation/maturation, cytokine/chemokine production leukocytes. also describe intracellular signaling pathways activated by DDR1 collagen.
