摘要: Abstract In today’s business, it is largely acknowledged that sustainability has to be considered in managerial decision making and corporate strategy development. However, many firms still face substantial operational organizational challenges when striving for a transformation toward sustainability, especially expanding their efforts supplier base. Framed by the recently emerging theoretical lens of practice-based view its extension supply chain practice view, grounded recent conceptualizations sustainable management, study at hand elaborates on management practices which can improve chains. Due high economic relevance exposure increasing requirements, chemical process industry chosen as empirical research field. Qualitative case identifies intra- inter-organizational are important achieve sustainability. A framework conceptualizes implementation prerequisites performance impacts derived from interviews with key informants German manufacturers. This paper contributes state-of-the-art diffusion particular through distinct focus imitable easily transferable between companies hence may help transforming entire sectors
