摘要: Bisulfite was reduced to sulfide by cell extracts of Desulfotomaculum nigrificans. When trithionate added reaction mixtures reducing bisulfite, formation inhibited with accumulation thiosulfate. The thiosulfate reductase activity found be trithionate. Trithionate alone and purified bisulfite (P582) not affected It is concluded that the pathway for reduction in Dt. nigrificans includes as intermediate compounds.
