摘要: In the Bohinj area (NW Slovenia), a distinctive interval of carbonate gravity-flow deposits overlying pelagic Biancone limestone was analyzed for microfacies and dated with radiolarians. This interval, newly described as Formation, consists 3 m thick breccia capped by 4 massive calcarenite. The is composed clasts platform facies, isolated ooids oncoids, bioclasts shallow-marine benthos. Intraclasts calpionellid wackestone rare chert are also present. Radiolarians from below indicate latest Tithonian to earliest Berriasian age, those above Early Valanginian age. Paleogeographically, part Bled basin, which had relatively distal position on Adriatic continental margin. suggested flysch-type in that Cretaceous age thus correlate Bosnian Flysch central Dinarides. Formation provides evidence must have been located more internally but now not preserved. inferred (named Carbonate Platform) may developed top nappe stack, formed during early emplacement internal Dinaric units onto correlates regionally genetically similar platforms Alpine – Dinaride Carpathian orogenic system, e.g., Plassen Platform Northern Calcareous Alps Kurbnesh Albania.
