摘要: The tectonic setting of the Albanian Alps, Northern Albania, is characterized by a thick pile units whose uppermost structural level represented Vermoshi Unit, cropping out just few km north Shkoder-Pec Line. This unit includes single formation, Flysch, turbidite deposits consisting arenites, shales and marls. Flysch has been sampled for paleontological datings petrographical analyses arenite beds along five selected well exposed sections in Valley. nannoplancton forams associations detected analyzed samples point to Barremian age, whereas modal analysis arenites indicates that all have mixed/hybrid silicilastic- carbonate composition, ranging from quartz-rich sublitharenites quartz-poor litharenites.
