A review of factors that influence the use of community pharmacies as a primary health care resource

摘要: This review paper provides an analysis of a range pharmacy practice, health services and sociological literature relevant to understanding how the public in United Kingdom use view community pharmacies as primary care resource. Papers published between 1980 1997 inclusive were identified, based on on-line searches databases, hand index, journals, bibliographies papers. included are those which report findings any aspect consumers' views pharmacies. No attempt is made evaluate adequacy since level reporting most short papers does not allow for this type evaluation. Instead, “maps out” what currently known about utilisation. Key variables that have been used explain use, including number demographic organisational factors, well factors associated with need demand issues. The summarises main empirical findings, where further work could add greater relationship delivery pharmaceutical care. Potential strategies positively influence consumer discussed.
