摘要: Abstract Production scheduling problems are reviewed briefly and the smoothing problem is defined as planning aggregate production level for each period in a given horizon to meet forecast demand. Five approaches reviewed: (1) HMMS linear decision rule employment; (2) DE production, which time lag incorporated; (3) management coefficients method; (4) use of LP models; (5) switching method. The assumptions objectives inherent approach discussed certain shortcomings indicated.
