摘要: In this paper, buckling behavior of symmetric functionally graded plates resting on elastic foundation is investigated and their critical load in different conditions calculated compared. Plate governing equations are derived using the principle minimum potential energy. Afterwards, displacement field solved Galerkin method proposed process examined through numerical examples. Effect FGM power law index, plate aspect ratio, stiffness metal core thickness investigated. The accuracy approach verified by comparing its results to those obtained another work, which performed Fourier series expansion.
