摘要: Abstract An attempt has been made to eliminate quartz and gradually replace felspar by sillimanite sand improve the thermomechanical properties of porcelains. It observed that quenching temperature difference (ΔT) required initiate thermal stress fracture in porcelain increased greatly, when compared classical compositions, with gradual replacement sand. Similar behaviour also linear expansion measurements. was concluded improvement shock resistance material due absence presence — a volume-stable mineral addition decreased amount glassy phase.
