摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this study is to explore the extent which e-books fit needs medical academics University New South Wales (UNSW) in performance their academic tasks. Design/methodology/approach A web-based survey was distributed all UNSW medicine, and 224 completed responses were analyzed according attributes a task-technology (TTF) model developed for settings. Findings Although Library had access > 225,000 e-books, usage by relatively low (38 per cent); however, most (92 cent) predicted that they would be using within next five years. Nearly two-thirds (65 portable devices including smartphones, 90 cent rated ability search across full text an e-book moderate-to-high importance.
