摘要: In teaching and learning human anatomy, anatomical autopsy prosected specimens have always been indispensable. However, alternative methods must often be used to demonstrate particularly delicate structures. Corrosion casting of porcine organs with Biodur E20® Plus is valuable for both gross anatomy and, uniquely, the micromorphology cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urogenital systems. Assessments casts a stereomicroscope and/or scanning electron microscope as well highlighting cast structures using color coding help students better understand how that they observed two-dimensional images actually exist in three dimensions, found highly effective their learning. Reconstructions hollow from (micro-)computed tomography scans videos facilitate detailed analyses branching patterns spatial arrangements structures, aid understanding clinically relevant provide innovative visual aids. The protocol manual we offer can adjusted different technical capabilities might also useful veterinary or other biological science classes.
