摘要: Abstract The challenge of die and mold milling is to achieve the specified dimensional geometrical accuracy, improve surface roughness, in order minimize polishing operations, still necessary meet tight tolerances required by automotive industry plastic injection sector. present study investigates multi-axis a specific steel grade Super Plast ® 300∗ ( SP300 ) [1] , ball nose carbide tool coated with Ti(CN). Surface finish analysis given 3D measurements data processing techniques shows that micro-geometrical defects generated C 1 continuous path are definitely less serious than those obtained classical paths driven via linear interpolation. Also, time saving more 30%. Thus, substantial productivity enhancement achieved dies molds manufacturing.
