摘要: Neurotensin receptor subtype 2 (Ntsr2) is a levocabastine-sensitive neurotensin expressed diffusely throughout the mouse brain. Previously, we found that Ntsr2-deficient mice have an abnormality in processing of thermal nociception. In this study, to examine involvement Ntsr2 behavior, performed fear-conditioning test mice. contextual test, freezing response was significantly reduced compared with wild-type This reduction observed from 1 h 3 weeks after conditioning, and neither shock sensitivity nor locomotor activity altered addition, mRNA predominantly cultured astrocytes weakly neurons derived The combination situ hybridization immunohistochemistry showed dominantly glial fibrillary acidic protein positive cells many brain regions including hypothalamus, while gene co-expressed neuron-specific microtubule associated protein-2 limited numbers cells. These results suggest may unique function like modulation fear memory
