摘要: Abstract Objective: To estimate the intangible effects of alcohol misuse on drinker's quality life, based general population preferences. Methods: The most important (dimensions) were identified by means two focus groups conducted with patients and specialists. levels these dimensions combined to yield different scenarios. A sample 300 people taken from Spanish evaluated a subset scenarios, selected using fractional factorial design. We used probability lottery equivalent method derive utility score for random-effects regression model relative importance each dimension rest scenarios not directly evaluated. Results: Four main (family, physical health, psychological health social) divided into three intensity. found wide variation in utilities associated (ranging 0.09 0.78). greatest (36.4%) family consequences (31.3%), followed (20.5%) social (11.8%). Conclusions: Our findings confirm benefits adopting heterogeneous approach measure misuse. estimated could have both clinical economic applications.
