摘要: Alcohol misuse represents one of the leading causes preventable death, illness and injury in Australia. Extensive research exists estimating effect risky alcohol use on mortality but little quantifies impact consumption morbidity. Estimates are needed to measure benefit interventions which reduce use. Ordered probit tobit models used analyse drinking self reported health status using data from rural Australians. It is found that associated with lower self-reported however average small apart for those at very high risk.
