Socioeconomic and Demographic Factors Influencing Feeding Practices, Morbidity Status, and Dietary Intakes of Children Aged 7–24 Months in Rural Uganda

摘要: The objective of this study was to analyze the nutritional and morbidity patterns children aged 7-24 months in relationship household socioeconomic demographic characteristics. Structured questionnaires repeated 24-hour recalls were used collect data. Maternal education age influenced timing complementary foods, dietary diversity score, meal frequency, diarrhea incidences (p < .05). This resulted 53%, 59%, 48%, 43%, 22% having inadequate intake energy, protein, vitamin A, iron, zinc, respectively. Households need be empowered utilize available resources for improving nutrient health among their children.
