摘要: In the present work, an attempt has been made to apply efficient technique, Grey based fuzzy logic method solve correlated multiple response optimization problems, in field of submerged arc welding. This approach converts complex objectives into a single grey-fuzzy reasoning grade. Based on grade, optimum levels parameters (Welding current, voltage and welding speed) are identified. Nine experiments orthogonal array Taguchi were performed. Weld bead hardness material deposition rate selected as quality targets. The optimal procedure is proposed developed for solving multi-response problem, which applies grey relational coefficient each grade so evaluate responses. significant contributions estimated using Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA). Confirmation test conducted reported. It found that current most controlled factor process according weighted sum maximum weld rate. evaluation can be used intelligent decisionmaking operator. good accuracy competency. paper highlights detailed methodology scheme its effectiveness. technique provides manufacturers develop manufacturing system achieve highest level automation.
