摘要: Abstract α-(1→2)- L = -Fucosidase, β- D -galactosidase and galactose oxidase are sterically hindered by certain types of branching in the oligosaccharide chains. 1) -Galactosidase will not cleave when penultimate sugar carries a sialic acid residue as I. 2) Galactose Oxidase oxidize trisaccharide I but II. Moreover, neither nor N -acetylgalactosamine, glycosidically bound III, is susceptible to oxidation with until α-(1→2) linkage between them cleaved α- -acetylgalactosaminidase . 3) -Fucosidase action inhibited α-(1→3)- -acetylgalactosaminyl or galactosyl residue, III IV. Removal terminal sugars makes fucosyl fucosidase action.
