Microstructure and cyclic oxidation behaviour of low-Pt/Dy co-doped β-NiAl coatings on single crystal (SC) superalloy

摘要: Abstract The low-Pt/0.1 at.% Dy co-doped β-NiAlCrSi coating was produced on single crystal (SC) superalloy IC21 by electro-plating of a ~ 3 μm thick Pt film followed electron beam physical vapour deposition (EB-PVD) β-NiAlDyCrSi over layer. For comparison, the low-Pt doped and Dy-doped coatings were also prepared, respectively. cyclic oxidation behaviour above at 1200 °C investigated. Minor Dy-doping led to refinement grains as-deposited coating. addition effectively suppressed precipitation topologically close-packed phase (TCP) in interdiffusion zone (IDZ) during heat-treatment. coupled effects Pt/Dy co-doping lower rate, less scale rumpling improved adherence than single-doping cases related mechanisms discussed.
