摘要: Over the past century, mice have been selectively bred to give rise strains used in biomedical research today. Mouse models of cancer allow researchers control variables diet, environment, and genetic heterogeneity better dissect role these factors humans. Because important background cancer, strain mouse can introduce confounding results studies if not properly controlled. Conversely, variation between also provide new insights into mechanisms. Here, sources are reviewed, with an explanation how modifies phenotypes.
