摘要: Abstract This paper investigated the effects of vermiculite on water absorption, water/fertilizer retention and basic physicochemical properties sulphoaluminate cementitious materials for plant growing applications. Vermiculite was utilised to partially replace cement (SAC) preparation a material with enhanced absorption capacities which are essential in cement-based environment. Mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) thermal analysis (TG-DSC) were employed characterize porosity hydration products hardened SAC-based pastes growing. Hydration heat-evolution introduced process materials. Experimental results showed that SAC based delivered best performance at 20 wt% content. At this replacement level, rate paste increased by 95.3% while capacity 13% 120 h. In addition, other property enhancements measured including reduction fertilizer pervasion up 15.3 wt%, 0.45 drop pore fluid alkalinity early-age compressive strength 35.1 MPa.
