摘要: Chronic stress is an important cause for depression. However, not everyone who exposed to chronic will develop Our previous studies demonstrated that early adversity can lasting changes in adolescent rhesus monkeys, but depressive symptoms have been observed. Compared adults, it still unknown whether monkeys experiencing are more likely symptoms. In this study, we investigated the long term relationship between adversity, and depression first time. Eight male were reared maternal separation (MS) or mother-reared (MR) conditions. All of them went through unpredictable two months at their age four. The stressors included space restriction, intimidation, illumination fasting. Behavioral physiological data collected during experiment. results showed that, compared with MR group, locomotor activity MS group was significantly decreased after one month while huddling up stereotypical behaviors increased. Moreover, trend continued even worsened second month. Significantly higher hair cortisol levels lower body weight observed stress. These indicate environmental factors which increase susceptibility when later life. This further clarify roles development children rearing conditions should receive attention.
