摘要: The Sungun porphyry copper deposit is located 100 km northeast of Tabriz in the Azarbaijan province Iran. total concentration and chemical fractionation metals metalloids (As, Se, Cd, Cr, Ni, Co, Zn) sediment downstream mine was investigated. degree contamination evaluated using pollution index (SPI) enrichment factor. concentrations As, Zn contaminated sediments were elevated due to anthropogenic activities. According SPI, surface ephemeral rivers flowing vicinity are classified as natural with no ecological risk, while that received effluents slightly polluted. Sequential extraction indicated Co principally associated iron manganese oxide fraction, other elements Zn, Ni) mainly distributed residual phases. Cadmium only element has a high potential for mobility bioavailability and, investigated elements, it poses greatest risk local aquatic ecosystems. pattern appears be influenced by industrial effluents. Although bioavailable fraction most contaminant low freshness sediments, over time, oxidation sulfide minerals these could contribute soluble form.
