摘要: AIM The ankle-brachial index(ABI) is an easy-to-use, non-invasive and reliable diagnostic tool for assessing peripheral arterial occlusive disease(PAOD). CHADS2(congestive heart failure, hypertension, age ≧75 years, diabetes, prior stroke) score a simple popular clinical parameter that used to assess the risk of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Because all five components CHADS2 are factors PAOD, should have strong correlation presence PAOD. However, there limited studies regarding association between PAOD without AF. Therefore, aim present study was investigate whether positively associated METHODS A total 1,320 AF were included this study. ABI measured using ABI-form device. defined as <0.9 either leg. RESULTS Among subjects (mean age: 60.3±13.4 years), prevalence 5.7%. multivariate analysis showed increased age(odds ratio [OR], 1.054; p<0.001), decreased estimated glomerular filtration rate (OR, 0.971; p<0.001) 1.861; independently <0.9. CONCLUSIONS Our demonstrated significantly non-AF patients. Further prospective needed examine ability predict incidence
