摘要: Between October 1976 and January 1980 a total of 368 feral goats was examined in New Zealand for the presence Chorioptes bovis 434 Psoroptes cuniculi. The seasonal pattern C. infestation similar to that seen sheep cattle. prevalence reached 100% July August (winter) declined 27% February March (summer). Fewer were infested with P. cuniculi maximum 41% July. No found December samples. independent age sex hosts. Infestation hosts, but older more frequently (16%) than younger (8.6%). Unilateral common (74.5%) bilateral infestation. severe lesions associated bovis, 21.3% had external auditory meatus blocked by waxy material 12.8% scabby encrustations on ears. importance as possible source domestic animals is discussed.
