摘要: We have developed a quantitative imaging refractometry technique, based on holographic phase microscopy, as tool for investigating microscopic structural changes in water-soluble polymeric materials. Here we apply the approach to analyze degradation of vaginal topical microbicide films due water uptake. implemented transmission 1-mm diameter film samples loaded into flow chamber with 1.5×2 mm field view. After was flooded chamber, interference images were captured and analyzed obtain high resolution maps local refractive index subsequently volume fraction mass density material at each spatial location.
