摘要: Oviposition does not start in the hermaphrodite gastropodLymnaea stagnalis if it is infected withTrichobilharzia ocellata when juvenile. Ovulation and oviposition are induced by gonadotropic hromone CDCH, produced paired groups of neuroendocrine caudodorsal cells (CDC) located cerebral ganglia snail. CDCH can be extracted from neurohaemal area CDC, commissure (COM), assayed a rapid vivo procedure. In this bioassay activity was found after injection COM extracts prepared donor snails, but these COMs contained smaller amount CDCH. Parasitized recipient animals assay did respond to injections, indicating that mechanism involved ovulation unable react The absence reactivity targets snails might both caused incomplete maturity CDC snails. Since female reproductive organs controlled dorsal body hormone (DBH), suggested parasites intervene at level DBH.
