摘要: There is an urgent need for more effective medications to treat major depressive disorder, as fewer than half of depressed patients achieve full remission and many are not responsive with currently available antidepressant or psychotherapy. It known that prolonged stressful events important risk factor disorder. However, there prominent individual variations in response stress: a relatively small proportion people (10-20%) experiencing stress develop stress-related psychiatric disorders, including depression (susceptibility stress), whereas most stress-exposed individuals maintain normal psychological functioning (resilience stress). have been growing efforts investigate the neural basis susceptibility versus resilience depression. An accumulating body evidence revealing genetic, epigenetic, neurophysiological mechanisms underlie susceptibility, well active phenotype. In this review, we discuss, mainly based on our own work, key pathological identified potential therapeutic targets treatment. We also review novel promote natural alternative strategy treatment efficacy. These studies opening new avenues conceptually strategies
