摘要: RF traps are widely used nowadays in high resolution hyperfine spectroscopy. The spectrum of the microwave transition at 40.5 GHz fundamental level2S1/2 of199Hg+ is phase modulated secular frequency stored ions and it consists a narrow central line lateral bands broadened by ion trajectory velocity distribution. itself shifted second-order Doppler effect which most important systematic error standards. In this paper relativistic case deduced applying mathematical formalism using physical parameters that we have measured experimentally.
