摘要: Involuntary movements developed in five women taking oral contraceptives. In one, the sudden onset of a unilateral disturbance suggested cerebral thrombosis; this case is considered to be further example increased risk cerebrovascular disease associated with contraception. The four other patients suffered relapse Sydenham9s chorea between one and months after starting an contraceptive regimen. Possibly underlying vascular mechanism was responsible for these relapses.
