摘要: Abstract Metabolic routes from progesterone to androstanediol in washed rat testicular microsomes were investigated, with special emphasis on the importance of 4-ene-3-oxosteroids, as well effect a minimal effective dose human chorionic gonadotropin these transformations. Incubation equimolar concentrations mixture [14C]progesterone and 17α-hydroxy[3H]progesterone resulted large preference 17α-hydroxyprogesterone over substrate for formation. [3H]progesterone together [14C]androstenedione inhibition C-17,20-lyase low 14C/3H ratio androstanediol, indicating androstenedione production. When 17α-hydroxyl[3H]progesterone was incubated microsomes, more than 8-fold production found. The stimulated testosterone but inhibited formation effected, some instances, change metabolic routes. It is concluded that produced preferentially through 17-hydroxylated C-21 steroids, also, lesser extent, C-19 steroids.
