摘要: This study modeled the urban growth in Greater Cairo Region (GCR), one of fastest growing mega cities world, using remote sensing data and ancillary data. Three land use cover (LULC) maps (1984, 2003 2014) were produced from satellite images by Support Vector Machines (SVM). Then, changes detected applying a high level mapping technique that combines binary (change/no-change) post classification comparison technique. The spatial temporal patterns analyzed selected statistical metrics developed FRAGSTATS software.
