摘要: Aim: To determine the structure of chimeric chromosome X bottom-fermenting yeasts. Methods and Results: Eight cosmid clones carrying DNA from yeasts were selected by end-sequencing. Four had Saccharomyces cerevisiae (SC)-type bayanus (SB)-type ends, two SC-type ends SB-type ends. Sequencing revealed that yeast strains in this study four types X: SC–SC, SC–SB, SB–SC SB–SB. The translocation site is conserved among strains, was created homologous recombination within a region high sequence identity between sequence. Conclusions: Existing share common ancestor which generated. Significance Impact Study: knowledge gained sheds light on evolution yeasts.
