摘要: This paper presents a new approach to predict the effects of machining-induced surface integrity on high cycle fatigue (HCF) behavior AISI 316L material. An exhaustive numerical–analytical method is developed based three main steps: (i) development 3D finite element model (FEM) finished longitudinal turning operation hybrid modeling cutting; (ii) prediction conditions affecting strength: residual stresses, Von Mises equivalent plastic strains, and superficial damage; (iii) HCF performance by considering computed conditions. The obtained results are in good accordance with available experimental investigations physically consistent. proposed can be used other cutting parameters resistance.
