摘要: Phototactic responses in a giant amoeboid cell ofPhysarum plasmodium were studied both by analyzing intracellular ATP content and applying image processing for recording oscillatory changes thickness with use of microcomputer. The fluctuated deviated from the initial level upon exposure to light varying wavelength 400 600 nm. maximum decrease integrated value $$\int\limits_{\text{O}}^{\text{T}} {{\text{ATP}}}$$ dt T=9 minutes occurred at 450 migrating distributed twice as high front rear. This polar pattern became unstable, new wavy appeared stimulating local frontal part blue light. In concentrically extending plasmodium, peripheral inside regions oscillated opposite phase each other. When this organism was exposed light, stimulated unslimulated began oscillate phase, waves propagated inward region. And protoplasm there thinner, strongest avoidance reaction occurring nm response. behavior inPhysarum is discussed terms bifurcation spatio-temporal organization appearing self-organizing system.
