摘要: Adenoid cystic carcinoma is a distinctive malignant neoplasm generally arising from minor salivary glands, that arises infrequently as primary tumor in the lung. Surgery has been considered treatment, with radiotherapy utilized adjuvant or palliative treatment. We report patient whom was sucessfully applied to treat adenoid involving distal trachea, carina, and both main stem bronchi. A total dose of 66 Gy delivered 2-Gy fractions over 7-week period. Clinically histologically complete remission achieved without evidence disease during 27-month follow up.
