Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of the Trachea

摘要: Adenoid cystic carcinoma is very rare, with an incidence of 0.1 to 0.26 per one lakh people. It the second most common primary malignancy trachea. The etiology, clinical manifestation and prognosis ACC trachea in Indian scenario has not been discussed so far. We evaluated presentation, treatment follow up details six patients trachea, who were treated our Institute from January, 2006 October,2014. Cough expectoration, exertional dyspnoea haemoptysis frequent presentations. Proximal was involved five lesion extending subglottis two patients. male: female ratio equal presented 4th decade their life. Two total laryngectomy proximal tracheal resection, resection anastomosis window resection. Four surgically received post operative radiation. One patient inoperable disease radical radiotherapy. All are doing well a median period 42.8 months.
