Protein synthesis in vivo in rats fed on lipid-rich liquid diets.

摘要: Changes in tissue composition and protein synthesis ratio were studied the major tissues of body young rats fed on lipid-rich, isonitrogenous purified liquid diets, a convenient method for inducing voluntary overfeeding under controlled nutritional conditions. Overfed showed faster growth induced by energy excess. Analysis (protein, DNA RNA contents) revealed that was due mainly to hyperplasia which contents increased parallel. Fractional measured vivo flooding-dose phenylalanine marked increase all tissues. This change could be attributed an ribosomal activity most Therefore, our results indicate addition supplementary source (as lipids) well-balanced diet improves growing rats.
