摘要: Aim: Investigation of possible effects rhubarb extract on adenosine deaminase (ADA) activity in cancerous and non human gastric colon tissues to obtain information about mechanism anti cancer action rhubarb. Materials methods: Cancerous removed from patients by surgical operations were used the studies. The extracts prepared distilled water. Before after treatment with extracts, ADA activities tissue homogenates measured. Results: was found be higher compared tissue, but no differences between tissues. It that significantly inhibited both Conclusion: Our results suggest aquoeus inhibits significantly. is suggested addition other proposed mechanisms, acumulated due inhibition enzyme might also play part anticancer properties
