摘要: Mining activities in Chile have generated large amounts of solid waste, which been deposited mine tailing impoundments. These impoundments cause concern to the communities due dam failures or natural leaching groundwater and rivers. This work shows laboratory results nine electrodialytic remediation experiments on copper tailings. The show that electric current could remove from watery if potential gradient was higher than 2 V/cm during 21 days. With addition sulphuric acid, process enhanced because pH decreased around 4, by this reason released solution. Furthermore, with acidic less V/cm. maximum removal reached anode side 53% acid days experiment at 20 V using approximately 1.8 kg dry basis. In addition, is proportional time.
