摘要: Abstract It is known that some inorganic anions can be adsorbed by variable-charge soils specifically, resulting in the lowering of ζ potential clay particle. Reasoning similarly, organic should also have such an effect. In this article, effect five low-molecular-weight (LMW) acids existing widely on potentials two was examined. The results showed presence led to a decrease potential. different followed order oxalate>citrate>malate>maleate>acetate. increased with increase anion concentration and decreased pH. extent apparently related their iron oxide content. isoelectric point (IEP) soil. IEPs systems acetate>maleate>malate>citrate. No IEP detected for oxalate system.
