摘要: The human populations of the Brazilian Amazon were formed by interethnic crosses between Europeans, Africans, and Amerindians. relative contribution men women different ethnic groups was not homogeneous, since social policies first three centuries colonization encouraged mating European indigenous and, later on, African women. In order to test this model based on historical data, we compared Y-DNA mtDNA Amerindian non-Amerindian formation urban population town Belem, in region, basis a C-->T mutation at locus DYS199 present 90% five markers that define 99% mitochondrial sequences less than 5%, whereas estimated more 50% same population. Thus, results demonstrate Belem 10 times higher men, genetic consequence behavior attitudes past; our also help clarify process integration communities into societies Brazil possibly other countries.
