摘要: Objective: We present a prospective, non-comparative case series study of 126 consecutive diode laser-assisted transcanalicular dacryocystorhinostomy (TCL-DCR) procedures on 122 patients. analyzed success rate, procedure time and amount laser energy needed for 5 mm osteotomy. Materials Methods: One hundred twenty-two patients with nasolacrimal duct obstruction were included in the study. The was performed under general anesthesia, nasal mucosa anesthetized. An endoscope used examination lacrimal pathways. site osteotomy determined transillumination lateral wall. achieved by applying via an optic fiber. 980 nm power 10 Watts. inserted bicanalicular silicone stent as last step. Success absence epiphora (subjective), or patency drainage system irrigation (objective). Results: successive endoscopic (EL-DCR) intubation average 12 min, 245 Joules needed. stents removed three to eight months after surgery. observed patent 105 out treated eyes. Eighteen had despite irrigation. This yields rate 83.3%, follow-up period months. Conclusions: EL-DCR is new contribution field It minimally invasive quick yielding high rate.
