摘要: The distribution of carbonic anhydrase activity along the tubules fresh human donor kidneys, prepared for transplantation, was studied by histochemical method Hansson. Enzyme demonstrated in cells convoluted part proximal tubule, including brush border region. straight tubule contained little or no enzyme, indicating a functional differentiation two parts tubule. staining thin limb different fixed and unfixed tissue. distal however, showed distinct enzyme activity. In major collecting duct mosaic found; some with high other low most near papilla, found. present study shows that is those kidney where there postulated role it. similar to seen rat dog kidney, which suggests common pattern urinary acidification these species.
