摘要: The shape of the filter response can be controlled by a combination ring resonators, such as series coupling, parallel and cascade topology. In particular coupling is effective to realize box-like spectrum responses, which are required for wavelength filtering in WDM systems photonic networks. this chapter, transfer function series-coupled resonators derived using matrix method, optimum conditions coefficients described. addition, free spectral range (FSR) extension method Vernier effect with dissimilar radii will discussed. Last, parallel-coupled an application interleaving introduced.
