摘要: Abstract We have previously shown that estrogen up-regulates expression of protein kinase C (PKC) δ in the rat and rabbit corpus luteum as well luteinized granulosa primary cell cultures. To determine whether a similar regulation PKC isoform by occurred another responsive system, we investigated receptor positive MCF-7 human breast cancer cells. In characterization isoforms cells determined was predominant isoform. However contrast to effect on ovarian cells, treatment resulted significant decrease mRNA time dose dependent manner. Treatment with 10 −10 –10 −8 M for 7 days down-regulated specifically while other unchanged. The opposite prompted us evaluate type present both types. Results showed expressed predominantly β α barely detectable levels β. These results suggest differential ability regulate could potentially be result signaling through two subtypes.
