摘要: Abstract: A modelling study was performed to solve the heat and mass transfer problems between grain ambient air encountered during drying by microwave assisted hot-air dryer, under low (MW) density of 0.2 W/g. Canola (Brassica napus), soybean (Glycine max) corn (Zea mays) seeds were chosen due their inherent high oil content. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) used effect conditions on structural characteristics these oilseeds. mathematical model adapted simulate one seed canola, corn. The process water modelled based vapour pressure molecules inside seed. It observed that when difference surrounding higher than, rate increased which led cracks in grain. Results showed decreased temperature cavity for all oilseeds studied, because reduced differential air. On other hand, if inlet two pressures increased. concluded controlling air, grains could be protected against popping cracking lower MW drying.
