摘要: Abstract In this work, the transient electroosmotic flow through a slit microchannel formed by two parallel walls with asymmetric zeta potentials is studied. An appropriate combination of momentum equation together rheological Maxwell model leads to hyperbolic partial differential that permits determine velocity profile, which found analytically method separation variables. Adopting nondimensionalized version governing equations allows us obtain following dimensionless parameters control fluid conditions: relaxation time fluid, λ 1 , and ratio for both microchannel, R ζ . The significance former based on fluids reaches steady state just controlled value parameter. For Newtonian case, directly established depending values profiles exhibit symmetric or shape peculiar oscillatory behavior in stage, competition between viscous elastic forces.
