摘要: Abstract Energy production based on the proper allocation of environmental liabilities is in line with concept sustainability. Flotation sludge (S) a type waste derived from physical treatment wastewater generated significant quantities during chicken slaughter Brazil. If not treated, this may contribute to pollution, but further provides clean energy and nutrient recycling. The present study aimed at evaluating reduction organic load by means mono co-digestion sweet potatoes (P) while promoting its conversion into (methane) nutrients (digestate). Semi-continuous reactors (60 L capacity) were used hydraulic retention time 25 days. fed daily 2.4 L consisting 60% digestate recirculation, 40% non-chlorinated water 4.5% total solids (TS). Using nine six progressive periods, eleven conditions evaluated three replicates each. percentages varied 0 100. best observed condition terms recovery TS removal was P + 40% S (p ≤ 0.05), as it presented values least an increase 92% biogas volume, 123% specific methane production, 98% yield 44% efficiency compared mono-digestions. fertilizer potential different calculated according area production. results 3.6 10.8 ha using 100 m3 digestate. A multivariate analysis showed that higher amounts substrate composition favor recycling concentrations enhance valuable agronomic characteristics.
